November Schedule

30/10/18

Refreshed wouldn’t quite be the word I would describe returning from my holiday in Las Vegas, in fact the opposite would be nearer the mark.

However, I’m almost fully recovered now and ready to get cracking with the jumps season which basically restarts on Friday as far as my website is concerned where I’ll be getting stuck into the Charlie Hall Meeting, the Grade 1 card at Down Royal and a competitive fixture at Ascot in addition to The Breeders’ Cup in Race Previews. I will also be looking ahead to those meetings in tomorrow’s Ante-Post Focus column which will be weekly throughout the jumps season with one exception in early January.

Just a little advance notice, my next break will be the usual midweek three days in the quiet second week of January as for the last three years. In 2015 it was Amsterdam, in 2016 it was Prague and last year it was Budapest. This time I will knock Bavaria off my bucket list.

Before my break I uploaded my Big Race Trends for the 16 leading handicaps of the jumps season and gave my Ten to Follow for the coming months in the Horses to Follow section. Although I advertise the start of the Jumps Season Service as the November Meeting at Cheltenham, I will be covering the two weekends that precede it and then also the best of the Friday action in the six weeks’ lead in to Christmas. The first of the 17 weeks’ coverage of the Cheltenham Festival Ante-Post Service will be on Monday, November 19th.

With regards to sport in November, Andy Richmond will be continuing with his weekly NFL coverage and he was 4/4 last weekend with his recommendations in addition to touchdown suggestion bets landed (following 3/4 winning recommendations the previous week), I will be back with Premier League Picks on Thursday and Mike Henderson returns to cover the Grand Slam of Darts from sunny Wolverhampton which takes place between November 10th-18th. I will be looking over the UK Snooker Championship that starts on November 27th.

There is no full golf coverage now until the spring but after I nominated Eddie Pepperell to win the British Masters in my ‘Thought for the Day’ at 28/1 a couple of weeks back, I will be probably be making my main golf fancy on the US Tour my Thursday ‘Thought for the Day’ in some of the weeks ahead. Ciaran Meagher had a strong finish ensuring that his column ended the season in profit and then I had a very successful Ryder Cup thanks to Mr Molinari being Top Overall Points Scorer at 18/1 and Top European Points Scorer at 9/1.

Now that the jumps season is fully back, Mark Ball will be returning with his blogs on a more regular basis and Graham Wheldon will be continuing with his thoughts, mainly on lower-league football betting opportunities. Alan Potts will be taking a break over the winter and returning in the spring.

Just a final reminder for All-Inclusive Service members who signed up last autumn who have yet to resubscribe, your subscription ends on November 15th so please get in touch if you would like to continue.
